KYRF Architecture is a practice based in Norwich, led by Jim Ross RIBA, we draw upon a breadth of experience working on Design, Heritage and Landscape projects across East Anglia and further afield. With over 20 years of experience in practice, Jim Ross works strategically with clients, to find appropriate and engaging ways of making buildings, projects, and places work.

Prior to setting up KYRF Architecture, Jim was an Associate and Senior Designer at Caroe Architecture Ltd a leading conservation practice. Projects included private residential, master planning, the new Wimpole Hall National Trust welcome building, and as design manager for a new internal porch for St. Pauls Cathedral. Jim is a director of Cambridge Architectural Research, where he was lead designer for K1 AKA Marmalade Lane a 42-unit award winning cohousing development in Cambridge. In his role of Design Fellow at Cambridge University, Jim has the opportunity to reflect upon wider design practice and pass on his delight in finding simple solutions to complex environments to the next generation of young Architects.
