Whilst at NPS James Lee was masterplanner for proposals to regenerate a recently decommissioned RAF Base.

The proposals included a new WW2 sculpture park making us of the historic revetments, public access strategies and creative ideas for the re-use of large hanger spaces. Site wide highways links and access strategies were particularly critical due to the relatively remote location of the site. Major constraints that had to be addressed included ancient monuments (WW2 revetments and WW1 bunkers) and relationship to the existing HMP Bure.
